Civil Technologist
Location
Greater Vancouver Kerr Wood Leidal Associates Ltd. (KWL) is currently seeking a Civil Technologist to work in its Burnaby (Metro Vancouver) office. Most projects will consist of residential subdivisions, pipelines, utilities, river and creek works, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment facilities. Many client sites are located outside the Lower Mainland therefore a willingness to travel is necessary.
Duties will include:
- Topographical surveys and office reduction;
- Construction survey layout;
- Quality and quantity control inspections; and
- Construction contract administration.

You enjoy working hands-on and excel at problem solving efficiently. You are rational, organized, and take pride in a job well done. You enjoy autonomy and are a proven self-starter. Your qualifications, interests, and experience include a combination of the following:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology;
- familiar with AutoCad, MS Word and Excel;
- familiar with field surveying and construction inspection:
- experience with Land Development Desktop and Civil 3D;
- the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written communications skills and be able to work
- with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment.
