Wayne Wong specializes in water and wastewater treatment and has a Masters degree in Pollution Control and Waste Management in Civil Engineering. Wayne has been involved in a broad range of projects in B.C. including: detailed design and tendering of the South Castlegar WWTP expansion; detailed design and construction of the Britannia WWTP; feasibility study and conceptual design to provide secondary wastewater treatment for the West Shore communities in the CRD, with a focus on wastewater effluent re-use and heat energy extraction; pre-design and detailed design for effluent pumping to distribute heat from treated wastewater effluent as an energy source for the Whistler Athletes’ Village District Energy System (DES).
