 Kerr Wood Leidal Associates Ltd. (KWL) is currently seeking an Administration Assistant to work in our Burnaby Head Office.

Typical duties will include:

  • Maintain physical and digital storage systems for the various information media;
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining office filing systems;
  • Completing clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning etc.
  • Provide support to receptionist: answering telephone/switchboard, screen telephone calls and respond to routine requests for information and handling courier deliveries;
  • Provide reception coverage during vacation and breaks:
  • Run errands: and
  • Other general office tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For

The right person… 

Your qualifications and experience include a combination of the following:

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • The successful candidate must be highly organized and possess strong written and oral communication skills (English);
  • Previous office administration experience considered an asset;
  • Previous Library Technician qualification and/or experience considered an asset;
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records;
  • You are personable, professional in your appearance and demeanour;
  • You have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic;
  • Working proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, includingWord, Excel and Outlook;
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • You also have the ability to prioritize work for maximum efficiency, and seek to simplify work processes;
  • Ability to lift file boxes (30-50 lbs);
  • Have a valid BC Driver’s license;and 
  • Available to work fulltime (37.5 hours per week).
