Don Nash

Don Nash, P.Eng. - Don Nash is a Senior Water Resources Engineer and Project Manager with 24 years combined education and work experience.  Don has developed a well-deserved reputation as a key project team member, from initiating innovative concepts to leading projects to award winning success.  Many in the water community will know Don from his influential roles in ground breaking projects, such as the City of Dawson Creek's Reclaimed Water Facility and the District of Sechelt's Water Resource Centre.  Don's technical expertise is broad, including civil engineering, water treatment, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water and contemporary project delivery methods.  His technical skills, combined with a broad range of job experiences, as a local government general manager, consultant and general contractor, enable Don to bring a valued perspective to projects.

Don's role is to lead KWL's services to local governments, First Nations, developers, and industrial clients throughout the Kootenay Region, and to bring his skills to larger project teams in BC and Alberta.

He is the past Chair of BC Water and Waste Association Water Sustainability Committee and has presented and written articles on climate change, geoengineering, and hydraulic fracturing.  Don has also worked with Engineers Canada PIEVC Protocol for incorporating climate change into engineering design.
