Laura Christensen

Laura received her P.Eng. with EGBC in 2017 and has several years of experience in the consulting industry. She holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph. Laura has been involved in all phases of district energy projects including planning, design, and construction. She has experience conducting hydraulic analysis of distribution systems across the Lower Mainland using TERMIS for planning, expansion, and optimization exercises. Laura has also been the project engineer, field engineer, and engineer of record for several distribution piping projects including the City of Surrey DES, City of Richmond ADEU, City of Vancouver NEU, and UBC DES. These projects have involved the installation of LOGSTOR piping, PEX piping, HDPE piping, and energy transfer station installations.
