Ryan Seibel

Ryan Seibel has over 17 years of experience in hydrometric operations, data quality management, and monitoring program leadership across Western and Northern Canada. Prior to joining KWL, Ryan held senior technical and operational roles with the Water Survey of Canada, where he was responsible for hydrometric program delivery, data quality oversight, technical review, and the publication of hydrometric data to national standards. His expertise includes hydrometric program management, field operations, data management, QA/QC, and technical review of hydrometric records to both BC RISC and national standards.

Ryan has extensive experience designing, implementing, and optimizing hydrometric monitoring programs in remote and challenging environments. He has technically reviewed thousands of annual hydrometric records and specializes in developing monitoring programs that deliver reliable, defensible datasets to support regulatory compliance, water resource management, and environmental decision-making.
